Prior to taking the name “Truth or Consequences” in 1950, this colorful little town was called Hot Springs New Mexico. The downtown is built over a hot spring aquifer that feeds amazing mineral water springs into 10 commercial spas. The vibrant little downtown also offers shops, a grocery store, restaurants, coffee bars, and a brewery.
